Hugo Lloris next club tips
FootyOn pick out Hugo Lloris next club tips, as the summer draws ever near.
The Tottenham and France captain has been at White Hart Lane since 2012, but it looks as though he’ll go another season without silverware there after his side slipped up in the Premier League title race.
Now 30, and questioning Spurs’ mentality after losing to West Ham United, the goalkeeper could seek a move elsewhere.
Find out below in our Hugo Lloris next club tips, where his most likely destination will be.
All odds are with BetVictor, and he has to sign before September 3rd 2017.
Manchester United – 3/1
This summer could see a merry-go-round of keepers at clubs and, with Man Utd’s David de Gea heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, Lloris would be a logical replacement.
The Red Devils are in a bit of a slump, as they look set to finish outside of the top four for the third time in four years, but they are at least winning trophies and, with their spending power, should challenge for more in the next couple of seasons.
Joe Mourinho’s ever-growing French contingent are joint-favourites to sign Les Bleus’ number one.
PSG – 3/1
Could Lloris fancy a return home?
Although from Nice, down on the French Cote d’Azur, capital club PSG could match Lloris’ ambitions and transfer fee.
The Ligue 1 champions look unlikely to defend their title, but will surely be favourites next season and are virtually guaranteed Champions League football every year.
Lloris played for Lyon just after their dominant domestic spell, so could finally earn the top flight crown with PSG.
Current keepers Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola would be his competition.
Real Madrid – 3/1
If Los Blancos fail to sign De Gea – yet again – then Lloris would no doubt be very high up on their list.
Of the above two fellow favourite clubs to sign him too, Real are most likely to claim Champions League honours.
Keylor Navas has not really done much wrong between the sticks for Zinedine Zidane’s men, but no doubt the French boss would love to sign his compatriot.
Someone of Lloris’ calibre and with his leadership skills would certainly suit the club, who until recently had another keeper Iker Casillas as club captain.
Barcelona – 6/1
Marc-Andre ter Stegen has won all he can with Barcelona now, despite only being 25, and it is said he could be on the move this summer too.
If he does go, again Lloris would be an ideal replacement, and the Frenchman would surely consider signing for one of the best teams in the world.
Barca have a rich history of having French players too, with Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti and Jeremy Mathieu currently on their books.
Manchester City – 8/1
Pep Guardiola has previously stated he wants a keeper that can use his feet too.
It hasn’t quite worked out with Claudio Bravo, who was supposedly meant to be perfect for the Catalan’s style.
But after failing to adapt to the Premier League so far, Lloris would be ideal.
Similarly-styled Kasper Schmeichel has also been linked with a move back to the Citizens, but Lloris is a class above the Premier League champion.
Man City are all-but guaranteed a top four position this term too, and should challenge on all four fronts next season.
