Where will in-demand Aussie end up? Aaron Mooy next club tips
FootyOn give Aaron Mooy next club tips, with Brighton and Hove Albion set to battle Newcastle United and current loan club Huddersfield Town for the Australia international.
Ahead of the Championship play-off final, it seems the Terriers’ best hope of keeping Socceroos midfielder Mooy are to get promoted.
That would make next season Huddersfield’s first-ever Premier League campaign.
David Wagner’s sterling work with the Terriers transformed them from being relegation candidates to on the cusp of top-flight football.
On-loan Mooy has been a regular in their engine room and the Manchester City-owned player is now attracting interest from elsewhere.
It begs the question, will his future for next season be resolved before Australia take part in the Confederations Cup?
Either way, that tournament in Russia could also put him in the shop window – if the Socceroos defy the odds.

Do Brighton and Newcastle have advantage over Huddersfield?
Prior to the Championship play-off final, Huddersfield’s chances of keeping hold of Mooy have been slashed from 9/1 into 3/1.
With four goals and 10 assists for the Terriers across all competitions this term, he has clearly demonstrated a creative influence.
Tabloid reports link Mooy with automatic promotion pair Brighton and Newcastle, however.
While Huddersfield have every chance of joining them in the Premier League next season, they will almost certainly be favourites to go straight back down.
Brighton, the 9/4 favourites to land Mooy, have offered a new deal to veteran midfielder Steve Sidwell, but the Seagulls will still be looking to add.
Chris Hughton has a number of other engine room options that, like Mooy, are in their mid-20s, so he fits the profile of player Albion are after.
He would compete with Dale Stephens, Northern Ireland’s Oliver Norwood and Israel international Biram Kayal at the AMEX Stadium.
The Magpies, meanwhile, are also seeking to strengthen their squad this summer and Rafael Benitez is 3/1 to sign Mooy.
Newcastle already have a midfield creator in Jonjo Shelvey, but a greater sense of competitions for places may help them.
Utility man Vurnon Anita is out of contract at St James’ Park, so there is room for Mooy.
Defensive midfielders Jack Colback and Isaac Hayden, plus forward-thinking Senegal international Mohamed Diame, are the Toon’s other options.
