Mancini odds and Benitez bets amomg next West Ham manager tips
FootyOn give next West Ham manager tips as Slaven Bilic remains under real pressure.
West Ham United boss Bilic remains favourite in the next Premier League manager to go betting – ahead of Ronald Koeman.
The Hammers have four points from five matches going into a weekend London derby at home to Tottenham.
Having splashed big on attacking additions like Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic, West Ham were hoping for better than hovering above the relegation zone on goal difference.
Spurs could heap more misery on Bilic, who is far from secure in the Hammers dugout.
Bearing that in mind, here are our next West Ham manager tips and all prices quoted are from Paddy Power‘s betting market…
Rafa Benitez bets at head of betting
Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez has managed in London before during an interim stint with Chelsea.
That temporary tenure at Stamford Bridge saw him lift the Europa League with the Blues.
Although he has stayed loyal to the Magpies and the football mad Toon Army that follow them since returning to English football, Benitez has been unhappy with transfer activity on Tyneside.
Despite controversial owner Mike Ashley’s promises, the calibre of signings the Spaniard hoped to lure to St James’ Park just didn’t happen this summer.
Benitez is doing a brilliant job with the resources at his disposal, however, as Newcastle sit in the Premier League’s top four after five games.
If he stays with the Magpies, then he might become a victim of his own success.
That’s why Benitez bets of 5/2 head the betting market and our next West Ham manager tips.
Roberto Mancini odds tipped for English football return
Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is now with Zenit St Petersburg and has them on top of the Russian Premier League.
The Italian steered City to the FA Cup and Premier League title during his four years at the Etihad (2009-13) following a trophy laden spell with Inter Milan.
Like Benitez, Mancini is one foreign coach with plenty of English football experience.
He has been linked with the Hammers job before, notably when Sam Allardyce left but the board went for ex-player Bilic.
It’s simply a case of whether Mancini wants to move away from the Zenit project which is proving so successful.
A number of Argentina players are the latest en vogue addition to his roster in Russia.
Either way, Mancini odds of 5/2 make him a market principal to take over West Ham.
Slavisa Jokanovic could get Premier League chance
Despite getting Watford promoted into the top-flight in 2015, former Chelsea and Yugoslavia midfielder Slavisa Jokanovic never had the chance to manage them in the Premier League.
His Vicarage Road exit still seems bizarre and he just missed out on another promotion with Fulham last season when they lost out in the play-off semi-finals.
The Craven Cottage squad doesn’t look as strong as last term, so – if given the chance to finally coach a Premier League – the Hammers would surely be an opportunity too tempting to turn down.
Jokanovic is highly-regarded by the West Ham board, so they may appoint him if Bilic is axed, according to tabloid reports.
Fulham have played attractive football throughout his tenure – a surprising contrast to the perceived Eastern European style expected.
Other notables in the next West Ham manager market are Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers (9/1) and West Bromwich Albion’s Tony Pulis (10/1).
