Promising Paulo Dybala goal odds for midweek clash
FootyOn outline Paulo Dybala goal odds for Juventus as the in-form frontman prepares to face Fiorentina in Serie A.
Italian champions Juventus managed to retain the services of star man Dybala this past summer, despite huge interest from around Europe.
Barcelona, in particular, have reportedly been circling for the Argentina forward, who has shone bright since arriving in Turin in 2015.
The 23-year-old was crucial to the Old Lady winning their sixth consecutive Scudetto last season, as well as reaching the Champions League final.
Dybala has picked up where he left off last term too, having fired in an incredible 10 goals in his opening six games of the new campaign.
Juve’s clinical frontman is still linked with a departure in the near future, but is also being praised by current club legends in Turin.
The sought-after attacker is a highly-promising 11/4 with BetVictor to net two or more against Fiorentina in midweek.
He has impressively bagged a brace or more in half of his outings so far this term (in 3 from 6), including two hat-tricks.
Stefano Pioli’s Viola could become Dybala’s latest victims, as they sit seven positions and six points below Juve in the early Serie A standings.
Sweet scoring success for Dybala already
Wednesday night will see Dybala take to the Turin turf once again in pursuit of further goals.
The Argentine hitman finished last season with 19 total strikes across 48 appearances.
But he has already racked up more than half of that tally in this current campaign after a flying start to proceedings.
Dybala’s most-recent heroics came this past weekend as he hit a sublime treble in a 3-1 triumph over Sassuolo.
In what was also his 100th Old Lady appearance, the South American netted a 25-yard screamer, followed it up with a neat second finish and capped it off with a pinpoint free-kick.
His latest scoring success meant he has sweetly struck back-to-back hat-tricks away from home.
The Argentine also became the first Juve player in history to score in each of the opening four Serie A games of a season.
With that in mind, Dybala is a tempting 12/1 with BetVictor to dispatch yet another hat-trick on home soil this midweek.
“Dybala will leave Juventus…”
Footballing super agent Mino Raiola has been involved in plenty of mammoth deals in recent years and the Italian recently claimed he can see Dybala leaving his current employers.
“I think Dybala will eventually leave Juve,” Raiola said. “He has to go to a team where he gets into a project that is already suitable for him.
“For him it is difficult now to enter a reformed Barcelona, but he would do well at Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City or Chelsea.”
Dybala was heavily tipped to arrive at the Nou Camp previously and such a move has only grew in speculation since the departure of Neymar to PSG.
According to the Italian media, the Turin star reportedly replaced Pierpaolo Triulzi with his own brother Gustavo as his present representative after this past summer window closed.
“People are afraid to face him at the moment…”
The form that Dybala is currently enjoying on Italian soil is “scaring the opposition”, according to Juve legend Alessandro Del Piero.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men are in the hunt for a remarkable seventh straight Serie A crown thanks to the clinical nature of their young finisher.
Del Piero, who made 705 appearances for Juventus during his prestigious career, says Dybala is frightening Serie A defenders with his astute attacking abilities.
“People are afraid to face him at the moment, even when it comes to free-kicks. You don’t know what can happen,” said Del Piero.
Speaking of Dybala’s superb free-kick against Sassuolo, he added: “It wasn’t an exceptional one and it wasn’t at too much of an angle but there was just enough of one for him to score.
“[Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea] Consigli was almost in awe and that tells you Dybala is growing, not only with his goals but also in terms of how he plays.
“Consigli could have saved it but he moved too late. The free-kick was well-hit, anyway.”
The remarkable early form of the young Argentine has seen Juve go second in the table behind only Napoli on goal difference.
Dybala looks set to enjoy a sublime season in front of goal and he is now seen as the best-priced 5/2 front-runner with Paddy Power for a Capocannoniere success.
