FootyOn experts give their 2017 League One play-off final tips, looking at the best Bradford v Millwall bets.
Live on Saturday at 15:00 BST on Sky Sports 1
It’s a repeat of one of last year’s third-tier play-off semi-finals at Wembley, where Bradford City boast a better record than the Lions.
The Bantams are perfect two out of two in play-off finals on the hallowed turf, while Millwall have won just one of three.
If Bradford are to avenge last year’s elimination, then they must be smarter at set-pieces than they were 12 months ago.
Check out best Bradford v Millwall bets and 2017 League One play-off final tips below…
Draw in 90 minutes and both teams to score
As the last three meetings between these two have all ended 1-1, backing normal time to finish level makes sense.
However, the previous three League One play-off finals have had plenty of goals in them.
Combining traditionally separate bets of the match result as a draw and a yes for both teams to score marries these trends together nicely.
There is more security in this bet than an outright correct score punt.
Bradford to win in extra time
If, as recent history shows, the Bantams and Lions cannot be separated in normal time, then extra time beckons.
Given Millwall’s struggles at Wembley, which also include an FA Cup semi-final loss, siding with Bradford make sense.
Steve Morison to score anytime
Lions joint top scorer Morison has a terrific record in both the play-offs and scoring at Wembley.
Netting 18 times this season, and four in eight appearances during this end of season third-tier competition to date, means there is value in backing him again.
Millwall strike partner Lee Gregory is short by comparison at 13/8, though does boast a strong recent record in this fixture.
