Premier League final day tips

FootyOn writers pick out Premier League final day tips for each fixture on May 21.

All 20 teams play at 15:00 BST on Sunday, with two of the games live on Sky Sports.

Top four chasers Liverpool and Manchester City, against Middlesbrough and Watford respectively, are the chosen TV fixtures. They’ll be hoping that Arsenal don’t leapfrog them into a Champions League place.

Read on for our Premier League final day tips…

All odds correct at the time of writing.

LIVE on Sky Sports 1: Liverpool v Middlesbrough

The Red currently occupy fourth position, and are two points and three goals behind Man City, meaning they almost certainly need to win big to stand a chance of finishing third. Liverpool smashed West Ham United 4-0 last time out, and beat Boro 3-0 away earlier this season.

Chosen bet: Liverpool to score over 3.5 goals
Best price: 6/4 with betway

LIVE on Sky Sports 2: Watford v Manchester City

Quite simply, a win for the Citizens will ensure they finish the season in third place, and therefore qualify for the CL group stage – rather than the play-offs. City have scored exactly twice in each of their last three meetings with Watford, and in two of their previous four PL fixtures.

Chosen bet: Man City to score exactly 2 goals
Best price: 11/4 with Sky Bet

Arsenal v Everton

The Gunners also feature in our Radja Nainggolan next club tips.

Can the Gunners achieve yet another top four finish? They feature in our Premier League final day tips.

Besides newly crowned champions Chelsea, no PL team is in better form than Arsenal, who have won their last four. The Gunners still have an outside chance of finishing in the top four, being a point behind Liverpool, and they’ll hope key man Alexis Sanchez can help them once more.

Chosen bet: Sanchez to score first
Best price: 16/5 with BetVictor

Burnley v West Ham United

Neither team are in great form, but West Ham more recently recorded a victory and have lost once in their last six. The Hammers have also beaten Burnley in their last four meetings.

Chosen bet: West Ham to win
Best price: 23/10 with betway

Chelsea v Sunderland

Champions Chelsea are on a fine run of six straight wins, so can take the foot of slightly. They scraped a thrilling 4-3 victory over Watford last time out, and have had their fair share of troubles against Sunderland over in recent years.

Chosen bet: Chelsea to win and both teams score
Best price: 9/5 with Paddy Power

Hull City v Tottenham

A Tottenham transfer features among Josh King next club tips as Spurs need to supplement Harry Kane.

Kane has been in firing form, with 26 goals this Premier League season.

Despite not being able to finish anywhere other than second, Spurs have certainly not stopped giving their all, after beating Man Utd 2-1 and then thrashing Leicester City 6-1. Harry Kane score four times against the latter, and one against the former, to now put him two ahead in the PL Golden Boot race.

Chosen bet: Kane to score two or more
Best price: 5/1 with betway

Leicester City v Bournemouth

Eddie Howe’s Cherries need just a point to secure their first ever Premier League top 10 finish, and could potentially end up as high as eighth. They’ve won three of their last four, while the Foxes have lost their last two, but these two have drawn two of their previous three meetings.

Chosen bet: Draw
Best price: 14/5 with Sky Bet

Manchester United v Crystal Palace

Jose Mourinho has pretty much confirmed that he’ll field a weakened team, and even some youth players, ahead of their Europa League final just three days later. That could give Palace, who have troubled a number of top teams this year, a great chance of claiming three points at Old Trafford.

Chosen bet: Crystal Palace to win
Best price: 2/1 with BetVictor

Southampton v Stoke City

Although they’ve only won one of their last seven, the Saints have a brilliant chance of finishing eighth to help ease the pressure off boss Claude Puel. Stoke are in terrible form, and can’t end up in the top 10 anyway.

Chosen bet: Southampton to win by 1 goal
Best price: 11/4 with Sky Bet

Swansea City v West Bromwich Albion

Being undefeated in their last four, winning three of them, Swansea will be delighted to spend another season in the Premier League. They even have the chance to jump up a couple more places from 17th, and then face a Baggies side that are winless in their last eight.

Chosen bet: Swansea to win
Best price: 11/10 with betway
