We’re blessed to see some of the most creative players in the world week in, week out.
There’s money to be made off the back of their exploits now.
Here are our top five contenders and most Premier League assists tips…
Kevin De Bruyne
It’s logical to start with the man who topped the assists table last term.
According to official Premier League stats, Belgium creative force De Bruyne laid on 18 goals for Manchester City teammates in 2016/17.
That instinct for a killer pass is not going to diminish just because Pep Guardiola has signed a number of defensive options this summer.
Given the recent additions of Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva in attacking areas at the Etihad, De Bruyne could easily emerge as creator in chief once again.
Tottenham and Denmark playmaker Eriksen has been runner-up in the last two seasons in this stats table.
His supply of goals (15 last season and 13 in 2015/16) has coincided with Mauricio Pochettino placing total faith in homegrown heroes at White Hart Lane.
With Spurs now playing their home games at Wembley while that ground is redeveloped, the bigger pitch may play to Eriksen’s strengths.
Linking up with Dele Alli, Harry Kane and others is something he has proven consistently.
Odds of 5/1 to make it third time lucky mean Eriksen has to be among most Premier League assists tips.
Iceland international Sigurdsson has made 26 assists in total during the last three season for a lower mid-table team in Swansea City.
He is a transfer target for ambitious Everton and also been of interest to former Premier League champions Leicester City.
While he may be settled at the Swans, Sigurdsson is a proven creator as well as goalscorer when playing regularly.
A transfer to Goodison Park might actually enhance his chances of making the most assists.
Having indicated he wants to stay with Arsenal, the best way for Germany playmaker Ozil to earn a new deal is put in a string of consistent performances.
Now he is no longer the Gunners’ record signing following the capture of Alexandre Lacazette, the pressure may finally be off Ozil.
The season before last (2015/16), he topped the assists table with a whopping 19.
If he can feed Emirates new boy Lacazette, then Ozil could easily lead this stat again.
He is a tempting 12/1 among most Premier League assists tips.
Bear in mind that Spain centurion Fabregas wasn’t first-choice at Chelsea last season and still set up 12 goals in their title-winning term.
In 2014/15, the previous occasion that the Blues lifted the Premier League, he made the most assists wth 18.
Fabregas is only one of four men in Premier League history to have laid on more than 100 goals for others in his career.
As the highest active all-time assists maker, Fabregas cannot be discounted and made the most of limited game time in this regard last season.
You can back Fabregas at 20/1, odds which look overpriced despite Antonio Conte’s capture of Tiemoue Bakayoko as the Spaniard can play further forward.
