Japanese Grand Prix winners quiz

Our F1 writers have come up with a Japanese Grand Prix winners quiz, ahead of the Asian Formula 1 race coming up in the 2017 season calendar.

From 1976-2016 there have been 17 different champions in 32 editions, but how many can you remember in just 3 minutes?

Test your knowledge by trying out our Japanese Grand Prix winners quiz!

It is powered by Sporcle and is specially conjured up by our very own F1 team.

Are you ready then? There are 32 slots to fill in – and you only need to type in their surnames, plus to help you out further we’ve stated the year they won.

So, take a breath, limber up your quizzing fingers and switch on your driving brain to name all of the previous Japanese Grand Prix winners:

We have gone through the years since the first-ever race at the Fuji Speedway in search of all of the Japanese Grand Prix winners.

It’s now held at the Suzuka Circuit, and some top and surprise names are among those that have claimed the trophy.

So, how many previous champions do you think you can remember?

You’ll be against the clock, though, with only 3 minutes to complete the list.

Don’t dwell too long on ones you are unsure of – and most importantly, don’t be tempted to search up the answers and cheat!

You may not even have the time…
