Championship loan players: Who can shape the play-off picture?

Huddersfield Town

It’s Huddersfield that have arguably benefited the most from recent loan deals this season.

They recruited both Izzy Brown and Kasey Palmer from Chelsea to boost their midfield.

Stamford Bridge prospect Brown arrived from a previous loan with Rotherham United to help his current side.

His Blues teammate Palmer has been there all term, netting five times in over 25 games on all fronts.

Anfield’s Ward has made over 40 outings since last term, with Man City’s Mooy also starring across the campaign.

With so much young talent and promise, Huddersfield will be confident when taking to Wembley for their play-off bid.

Meanwhile, another couple of youngsters from Chelsea have made their impact in their ranks.

Highly rated Brazilian Lucas Piazon has shone too, netting on his debut last year and dispatching some vital goals.

His parent club teammate Tomas Kalas has been a key feature on loan as well.

The 23-year-old Czech Republic international has been a solid loan acquisition in the heart of Fulham’s defence and will be crucial in their play-of bid.
